Purpose
Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) is dedicated to advancing the research, development and deployment of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to improve the nation’s surface transportation system. Its membership includes public agencies, private sector companies, academia and research institutions.
ITS America gives the ITS industry a voice in the national conversation on the role technology can play in building a safer, smarter, more efficient and sustainable transportation system. By engaging with Members of Congress, the U.S. Department of Transportation and other government entities, ITS America serves as a resource for solutions that advance the nation’s transportation system, such as accelerating the deployment of technology solutions and developing new innovations to meet the demands of future generations.
