Project 25 Technology Interest Group (PTIG) promotes the promise of achieving the fullest potential for interoperability. Interoperability is essential among multiple user agencies and multiple manufacturers and is essential for serving the two-way radio communications needs of public safety first responders. Interoperability is essential for the equally critical communications needs arising when used between government jurisdictions, between industries and between government and industry.
