Description
The software-configurable All-Digital DAS solution utilizes SDN Radio Router technology to deliver more data throughput. Through digital signal processing, the RF noise floor is unaffected by fiber length, allowing for greater coverage reach without signal degradation. A single optical transceiver is used for both uplink and downlink signals, which means that a single fiber can be used to transmit and receive signals using wave division multiplexing (WDM). The solution, which runs on a two-tier architecture, supports a transparent 1-Gbps Ethernet channel on each fiber connection that can be used to carry IP traffic from Wi-Fi access points or other IP devices.
