Secure Virtual Private Clouds (VPC)
Description
It’s not a public cloud. It’s dedicated cloud space. It’s a user's own virtual data center with the user's tools and data, connected directly to the user's internal network with encrypted network pipes. The user chooses the characteristics of the VPC, be it centralized in one country or spread around the world. Rather than purchase each infrastructure layer separately, risking tools and data mingled with others in a public multi-tenant service, a VPC is a “cloud of one” that acts like cloud space inside the firewall. It is configured to match the user's network, security and backup plan with the user's data and tools accessible only by approved people.
