RAN and Core technologies that supports edge coverage and capacity applications. The Thin RAN platform can be utilized to provide Femto-based eNodeB solutions to interface to Crossfire installations. This all-IP based solution, designed specifically to support DAS applications, minimizes space while providing a complete end-to-end and fully functional 3GPP solution including eNodeB and Evolved Packet Core. The use of an integrated eNodeB and EPC solution on a customer’s premises can facilitate local termination of traffic and a corresponding significant reduction in offsite transport links.
