A security solution for small and medium enterprises that is designed for flexibility and scalability in the SMB segment. It can load up to six Gigabit Ethernet ports and comes in a 2U rack-mountable chassis. It provides network services including routing, firewall-ing, outbound connection load balancing, gateway anti-virus, category-based web usage policy enforcement, extensive web usage reports and identity-based Web access control. Location-based policy enforcement of Mettle SE helps to enforce access policies based on which network/VLAN the user is in. It can function as a VPN concentrator and supports VPN technologies like IPSec, SSL VPN and PPTP.
