Web-based fault and alarm management system that allows telecom service providers to maintain the uptime of telecom-based services. The system provides real-time alarm monitoring with enhanced alarm correlation and trouble ticket module, providing efficiency in resolving the network problems. Implementing the software in OSS architecture enables data collection from all available sources across a network. It applies data filtering and event correlation functionality to eliminate messages that are insignificant to efficient network operations. Reports that are supplied as standard include: alarm summary, list of most frequent alarms, average alarm duration, SLA reports, list of objects that generate most alarms, daily distribution of alarms, historical reports and TT reports. It helps to keep QoS high and to minimize Mean-Time-to-Repair (MTTR).
